Terms of Service

1 · Who we are

LanderOS is a study app operated by Orlando Landeros (“we”, “us”). Contact · support@lander-os.com.

2 · Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use LanderOS. If you are between 13 and 17, you may use the service only with the permission of a parent or legal guardian, and any paid subscription for your account must be purchased and held by that parent or guardian. By creating an account you confirm you meet these requirements. If we learn an account belongs to someone under 13, we will close it and delete its data.

3 · Your account

You need to sign in to use the workspace. You're responsible for keeping your password safe and for anything done from your account. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access.

4 · Billing

The Free plan does not require a card. Paid subscriptions are charged when purchased and auto-renew monthly or annually based on the plan you picked. You can cancel anytime from Settings → Subscription → Manage, which opens the Stripe Customer Portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period · we don't pro-rate refunds for partial periods.

Lifetime is a one-time purchase for the features and hosted-service allowances listed for that plan at purchase. It does not mean unlimited third-party AI usage and does not include future tiers with higher caps.

Every plan is subject to the daily, monthly, file-size, storage, feature, and shared hosted-service limits shown at purchase or in the app. We may refuse abusive or automated use intended to evade those limits. If we materially reduce a paid plan during its current billing term, applicable law and the refund terms shown at purchase still apply.

Stripe processes all payments · we never see or store your full card number.

5 · Your notes

Your notes are yours. We store them in Supabase to sync them across your devices, and we send relevant portions to AI providers (Anthropic Claude, OpenAI) when you invoke AI features. LanderOS does not use your workspace to train its own model, and we do not sell or share your notes for targeted advertising. Providers process requests under the API terms and settings applicable to our accounts.

You can export your workspace as a backup at any time from Settings → Workspace → Export. Account deletion removes primary workspace and attachment data; limited payment, security, legal, and provider-backup records may remain as described in the Privacy Policy.

6 · Acceptable use

Don't use LanderOS to break the law, send spam, harass anyone, generate or distribute illegal content, or attempt to disrupt the service for other users (including by automated requests that exceed reasonable human use). We may suspend accounts that abuse these rules.

You retain ownership of the content you create. By uploading content, you grant us only the limited license needed to provide the service to you (storage, sync, display).

7 · AI output disclaimer

AI-generated summaries, tutoring answers, practice questions, and other outputs may be inaccurate, biased, or out of date. Verify anything material before relying on it for exams, medical decisions, legal questions, or anything else that matters. We provide no warranty as to the accuracy of AI output.

8 · Service availability

We aim for the service to be available all the time but we make no uptime guarantee. We may take the service offline for maintenance, security, or operational reasons without prior notice. If a paid plan is materially unusable for an extended period, contact us and we'll work out a fair credit or refund.

9 · Liability

To the extent allowed by law, LanderOS is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, and our total liability to you for any claim arising out of the service is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or (b) US$50.

10 · Termination

You can delete your account anytime. We can suspend or terminate access if you breach these terms. Termination doesn't refund the unused portion of a current billing period unless we say so in writing.

11 · Changes to these terms

We may update these terms occasionally. If a change is material, we'll notify you in the app or by email before it takes effect. Continued use after a change means you accept the new terms.

12 · Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Texas, United States. Any dispute will be handled in the courts of Travis County, Texas.
