What it does

Three things it does for tonight.

Tonight's work

It fills in the worksheet with you.

Hand it the problem set — PDF, Word doc, slides, or a photo of the page. LAND places an answer next to each question number, circles the multiple-choice letter, and highlights what it graded, showing its working as it goes. Every edit is staged on the page for you to look at; nothing is written to the file until you say so.

1. Define hydrostatic pressure.

Pressure a fluid exerts at rest, from the weight above it.

2. Which vessel has the largest total cross-sectional area?

C — capillaries

3. Cardiac output = ?

CO = HR × SV

You see every answer on the page before anything is written to the file.

The promise

It tells you when it doesn't know.

Every answer carries a badge saying where it came from. A confident-sounding guess is labelled a guess, and web claims come with links you can open and check yourself. That badge is the difference between studying from this and studying from a chat window.

from your notesIt answered out of your own material.
from webReal links, listed under the answer, that you can open.
AI-generatedIt wrote this for you — an exam, an essay, a plan. Check it.
unverifiedModel knowledge with nothing behind it. It says so instead of bluffing.

Before the test

What you missed comes back.

Anything you got wrong turns into a card, scheduled by how well you actually recalled it — pushed further out when you know it, pulled closer when you don't. Put your exam date in and the whole plan compresses to fit the days you have left. You do not have to remember to review; that is the app's job.

And everything else it does with your material.

Edit your PDFs like a doc

Real text editing inside the PDF · 53 fonts, OCR for scanned pages, AI images generated in-place, merge files. No round-trip through another app.

LAND researches the web for you

Ask something your notes can't answer · LAND searches the web and comes back with citations you can verify, grounded in what you're studying.

Research Review across 200M+ papers

Search scholarly indexes without spending a model turn, inspect abstracts and open-access links, then choose the exact papers Writing Studio may cite.

Handwriting and spatial notes

Write with a live stroke stabilizer, highlight and erase in 2D, then place ink on XY, XZ, or YZ planes and plot labeled points in 3D · inside the same note as your text, tables, and files.

LAND · your AI study sidekick

Tap the rainbow sphere or click the mic. LAND listens, auto-sends after you pause, reads the note you're on, sees attached images/docs/audio transcripts, and can move from Camera into deeper help.

Notes that sort themselves

Drop PDFs, Word docs, slides, spreadsheets, lecture recordings, photos, or just type. Every chunk lands in the right subject and topic automatically · no folder management.

Syllabus to calendar

Upload a schedule screenshot, syllabus PDF/DOCX/PPTX/XLSX, or .ics file. LanderOS extracts recurring classes, imports them into Calendar, and lets LAND plan study blocks around them.

A tutor that remembers everything

Socratic AI that keeps your full history per subject. Every claim has a source chip · click it, jump to the exact note it cited.

Practice exams that adapt

Never repeats a question you've seen. Weights toward concepts you missed last round. Free-response answers get AI-graded with partial credit.

Flashcards from your guide

Every Q&A pair from your source becomes a card, prioritized over AI-extracted ones. FSRS-scheduled · flip to reveal · click through your whole deck.

Coverage-verified audio

Generate a 30–90 minute walkthrough of every question. A coverage badge confirms `152 of 152 covered`. Downloadable MP3 · drive to the exam with it playing.

Every note as a wireframe planet

Your whole vault as a force-directed concept map. Tiny color-cycling spheres, dotted lines where notes share rare vocabulary, drag to push them around. Click a sphere to open the note · zoom into a folder to fly there. `[[wikilinks]]` for explicit references.

OS readiness, not guesswork

Progress checks notes, files, sorting, calendar pressure, Camera captures, concept-map coverage, focus rhythm, and settings so students know exactly what to fix next.

One source, one system

Your tutor knows what your exam covers. Your exam knows what you struggled with. Your podcast covers every question. Same notes, one workflow.

The four surfaces

Four surfaces. One source of truth.

Every surface reads the same notes. Improve one and the others improve with it.

Honest comparison

We don't want to beat ChatGPT at chatting. We want to beat everyone at studying.

ChatGPT is great for general questions. Quizlet has flashcards. Anki has scheduling. Notion has notes. LanderOS is the only one that connects all four into one workflow built for exams.

Why this exists

I'm a student. Three days before a hard physiology exam I had 14 lectures of slides, a 200-page guide, and ChatGPT open in 8 tabs. I was copy-pasting chunks, re-explaining context every session, building flashcards by hand, and never knowing what I actually had down vs what I was about to bomb. The AI tools were brilliant in pieces but nothing connected them. So I built the thing I wished existed. Every feature here comes from a moment of frustration I lived through · the Cram Planner exists because I couldn't tell what to study tonight. Mistake Patterns exists because I kept failing the same kind of question without noticing. Coverage-verified audio exists because I wanted to study while driving. If you've felt any of these · this app is for you. And if it doesn't help, email me · I read everything.

FAQ

Real answers.

Why does LanderOS exist?

Is this just a wrapper around ChatGPT?

No · it's a study workflow built on Anthropic's Claude (with OpenAI Whisper for transcription + DALL-E for diagrams). The AI is the engine; the value is the system around it · auto-organized notes, FSRS flashcard scheduling, adaptive practice that remembers your weak spots, coverage-verified audio, and a tutor that pulls from your knowledge graph instead of starting fresh every conversation.

Why would I pay for this over ChatGPT Plus or Claude Pro?

Same price ($19.99/mo · matches both). The difference is what the AI knows about YOU. ChatGPT starts every conversation from zero · you re-paste context, re-explain what exam you're prepping for, re-upload the same PDF. LanderOS already has all of it loaded. LAND knows which note you're working on, your subject, your recent topics, your exam date. Your practice exam knows what you got wrong yesterday. Your cram plan factors in LanderOS Calendar. The integration IS the product · the AI is just the engine. If you only want generic chat, use ChatGPT. If you want a study system that learns YOUR material, this is it.

What's LAND?

LAND is the rainbow sphere in your typing bar. Tap it (or ⌘⇧L), click the mic, or hand it a Camera frame. It reads whatever note you have open, understands attached documents/images/audio transcripts, chats about them, proposes edits with a confirm-before-apply card, and can generate labeled diagrams via DALL-E 3. When your notes don't have the answer, it does real web research and replies with citations you can verify. Same model family ChatGPT and Cursor use · the difference is LAND already knows your notes, subject, calendar, and study context.

Where is my data stored?

In your browser's IndexedDB · local-first by default. Your notes never leave your machine except when you explicitly send a chunk to the AI for processing (those calls aren't stored on our servers). You can export everything to JSON anytime. Sync across devices is opt-in via your account.

What if I don't have a study guide PDF?

You don't need one. Dictate lecture notes, paste a textbook chapter, upload Word/PowerPoint/Excel, attach audio or video, photograph a whiteboard, or drop in your syllabus. The AI sorts whatever you give it.

What's free vs paid?

Free keeps the local workspace, notes, Calendar, tasks, exports, manual study tools, a latest cloud recovery snapshot, and a small monthly LAND allowance without a card. Starter is $9.99/mo for one-class AI usage, Pro is $19.99/mo for a full semester, and Premium is $39.99/mo for higher limits and deep-model access. Lifetime is $249 one-time for the permanent local core plus 10,000 included hosted-AI credits; those credits do not reset.

Will my notes carry over between devices?

Yes · sign in and your notes sync automatically across laptop and phone. The local-first model still applies (your browser is the primary store), but a gzipped blob of your workspace is pushed to our server on each change so your other device can pull it down.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes. No annual lock-in on Starter or Pro. Lifetime is one-time, no recurring charge.
